"Creating a world in which children's rights are guaranteed and children are enabled to realize their great potential."
That is the mission of KidsRights. KidsRights is convinced that realizing children’s rights is more effective when you work on them together with children. The experience and authority of children themselves can make a difference, a change.
Children can make a change!
“Giving a voice to the voiceless.”
Every year KidsRights hands out the International Children's Peace Prize to a child that boldly and exceptionally defends the rights of children. This prize offers a stage for these children to tell their story and battle for children rights. As patron of KidsRights Desmond Tutu says: “giving a voice to the voiceless.”
The winners of the International Children Peace Prize will show the enormous impact children will have with the activities they do, in the battle to make kidsrights better all over the world. By winning the prize these children “changemakers” get a platform to make their voices heard and the opportunity to develop as positive and resilient change makers. They give a face to children’s rights and its icon for all those thousands of children who face the same injustice or problem.
However, there are many more talented children worldwide with promising initiatives. Therefore Kidsrights believes that all children who want to make a difference must be recognized and supported in their incredible effort to improve children's rights. No matter how small these initiatives may appear, with the right support and options, the impact can be limitless.
Mohamad Al Jounde (Winner 2017): "Every action, small or big, can make a change."

Kesz is the winner of the International Children Peace Price of 2012. He is committed to the rights of street children in the Philippines. With his organization Championing Community Children (C3) he hands out gifts and is creating hope to the children, but also provides information about children's rights, healthy food and hygiene.
Aichurek's project is especially focused on the right of children to a non-violent environment at school and at home. Together with some friends she set up a private foundation to create more awareness, by thorough training and theater performances.

We from Tootal Fabrics are proud to be supporter and ambassador of KidsRights. Due to our worldwide spread, we are aware of the unequal rights of the children in the world. As supporters of the KidsRights initiative we want to make a statement, that every child has rights. We look beyond just rights for children within the textile market. That is why we support KidsRights. By using our off- and online channels, but also via our partners and customers with whom we collaborate, we support the KidsRights initiative.
