Tootal Weaves and Constructions

Tootal offers all kinds of textures and weave types. To create a fantastic fabric, you need to start spinning the yarns. To weave a fabric, you have to combine a certain number of yarn counts in warp and weft. The number of threads in warp and weft in combination with the weave type defines the final look of the fabric. The number of weave textures that can be produced is practically endless.

At Tootal Fabrics (Holland) B.V., we offer the following weave types as part of our fabric collection:

  • Plain
  • Chambray
  • Dobby
  • Herringbone
  • Oxford
  • Panama
  • Satin
  • Twill
  • Pique
  • Seersucker
  • Fil a fil

For more information on the texture of a fabric item, please view our colour cards or our webshop.

How can we add colour to a fabric?

  • Plain dyed fabrics are fabrics that are dyed after weaving the fabric.
  • For yarn-dyed fabrics, the yarn is first dyed before weaving the fabric.
  • Printed fabrics offers unlimited design possibilities. Tootal offers both rotary and digital printing.

In addition to our standard collection, Tootal Fabrics also offers the possibility of producing your own design.
